MY NAME IS JUAN ORTIZ MARMOLEJO.  I SERVED HONORABLY FOR 10 YEARS IN THE US NAVY.  TOWARDS THE END OF MY CAREER I SUFFERED A SPINAL FRACTURE WHILE GOING THRU BASIC UNDERWATER DEMOLITION/SEAL TRAINING.  MY DOCTOR SAID I SHOULDN'T EXPECT TO GET BACK TO WHAT I ONCE WAS PHYSICALLY.  I AM HAPPY TO SAY THAT DR.'S AREN'T ALWAYS RIGHT.  FORTUNATELY I FOUND MY WAY AND I REFUSED TO LET MY SPINAL FUSION LIMIT THE DIRECTION OF MY LIFE.  AFTER MANY HOURS/YEARS OF DILIGENT REHAB I AM BLESSED ENOUGH TO BE 90% RECOVERED AND BY THE GRACE OF GOD I AM PURSUING A PROFESSIONAL CAREER AS A TRIATHLETE.  METAL PARTS LIFE HAS A GREAT MISSION AND I AM HONORED TO REPRESENT THEM.

meet brittney, our First Metal Parts Athlete! she has Hypermobility Syndrome and suffered several joint dislocations over her lifetime.  THROUGH weightlifting and clean eating She has found her passion in fitness/figure competitions and uses these as a driving force to maintain her new lifestyle.

introducing tina, she has been battling back problems for decades and has been managing by adopting a more active lifestyle, clean eating and more work-life balance.  over the years her hereditary spinal condition worsened and she was then diagnosed with hypermobility syndrome & fibromyalgia.  she was later discovered to have a broken bone in her back, requiring surgery for stabilization.  now very early in the recovery process from spinal fusion surgery, she continues to surprise her doctors with her rapid recovery & enthusiastic attitude.  she looks forward to discovering what adventures are possible with her new "metalpartslife".
